///TAMARA DOSSIN : CERAMICS, SCULPTURE

Tamara Dossin was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She earned a BFA at Northern Michigan University and a Masters from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has worked professionally as a social worker since the late 1970's. During that time, she relegated her artistic pursuits to the background but recently decided to concentrate on her art full-time. While she has explored drawing, painting, and printmaking, ceramics remain her primary passion. Experimenting with different types of glazes and using slab construction, she intuitively creates abstract, monochromatic sculptures.
