///LISA HOLDER : PHOTOGRAPHY
Location: Charlotte, NC
Most of my photography revolves around women, memory and identity. This work is from a series on women in bed, where my goal was to capture both intimacy and vulnerability. I shoot with infrared film for the grainy, dreamy quality and then alter the images with techniques such as toning and bleaching. Her work is part of the traveling exhibit, Telling our Stories, organized by the North Carolina Department of Cultural Resources. And in June 2008 and October 2009 she exhibited at the Women of the Congo event in New York City.
