Lathe is interested in the dynamics of urban growth and the role of new and developing communities. By means of painting, he invites the viewer to see the banal and overlooked as expressive and engaging by creating landscapes of images echoing the growing communities around us. Lathe, a former Affiliate Artist is exhibited both locally and regionally. He received a BA in Graphic Design and Illustration from East Carolina University.
