Jeremy Austin received his BFA from the University of Maryland at College Park and has organized an African American Fine Arts Exhibition at Mary Washington College Galleries in Fredericksburg, VA. His work combines painting, contruction, and photo montages. He simplifies the figure in a manner similar to the method pioneered by Romare Bearden. His intention is to depict our shared ancestry, regardless of geographic location, and respond to what we have in common - humanity.
