“Simply obsessed” with the ubiquity of water and the accessibility of the human form, Jarvi uses painting and pastels to convey a personal experience with water, often depicting the powerful yet vulnerable sensuality of the submerged female figure. Jarvi received her BCA in Visual Arts and BA in Philosophy from UNC Charlotte. She is the recipient of two Arts & Science Council project grants and is represented by Red Sky Gallery.
