Artists Are Catalysts for Change

Recently, Americans for the Arts, a national arts advocacy organization, published a list of 10 reasons to support the arts in 2015All ten were sound and solid reasons for supporting the arts in our community.

Reasons #7 and #8 – “Arts spark creativity and innovation” and “Arts have social impact,” respectively – resonate within our signature stone and brick walls here at McColl Center for Art + Innovation.

We’d like to add one more reason to support the arts to the list: Artists are catalysts for change.

McColl Center for Art + Innovation’s Artists-in-Residence are making an impact in education, business innovation, environmental remediation, human services, and social justice issues.

Your support makes this possible.

When you make a financial contribution to McColl Center, you help us empower artists, advance our community, and shape our cultural identity.

Thank you for helping make an impact.

Every financial contribution we receive by June 30, 2015 is eligible to win a one-of-a-kind vase by 2003-2004 Alumna Artist Terry Shipley. Make your contribution now!
