President Barack Obama has announced his intent to appoint McColl Center for Art + Innovation Associate Director Lisa Hoffman to the National Museum and Library Services Board.
The National Museum and Library Services Board is an advisory body that includes members of the general public who have demonstrated expertise in, or commitment to, library or museum services, and advises the Institute of Museum and Library Services director on general policy and practices.
“Lisa has again gained national recognition for her outstanding leadership and brilliant professionalism,” said Suzanne Fetscher, President + CEO of McColl Center for Art + Innovation. “She continues to make all of us at McColl Center so proud.”
The White House made the announcement on August 26, 2015.
“I am confident that these experienced and hardworking individuals will help us tackle the important challenges facing America, and I am grateful for their service,” said President Obama. “I look forward to working with them."
