Wednesday, December 15 marks the deadline for proposals from artists for the Center’s Outdoor Sculpture Project, which will be located on the front lawn of the Center. In addition to accepting proposals from visual or interdisciplinary artists, curators, architects and designers for exhibitions in one of its main galleries, Gallery 115.
McColl Center for Visual Art - Outdoor Sculpture Project

McColl Center for Visual Art is actively seeking proposals from artists for its Outdoor Sculpture Project, which will be located on the front lawn of the Center. The size of the lawn is approximately 3,000 sq ft. This is a special opportunity for artists to design and create temporary work for the lawn of one of the
Country’s leading urban artist communities. Individual artists as well as groups are encouraged to apply. Priority will be given to those proposals that provide an innovative use of materials and structures. A $1,000 honorarium will be provided.

McColl Center for Visual Art - Gallery 115

As an extension to its current exhibition program, the Center is actively seeking proposals from visual or interdisciplinary artists, curators, architects and designers for exhibitions in one of its main galleries, Gallery 115. Located on the main level of the Center, Gallery 115 is approximately 1500 sq ft. This is a unique opportunity to exhibit in one of the area’s premier spaces. Proposals may also include new media, site-specific installations, performance, painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, graphic design, and fashion design. Individual artists as well as groups are encouraged to apply. Priority will be given to those proposals that provide an experimental approach to contemporary art or exhibitions, innovative use of space, encourage community dialog or support curriculum-based programming. A $1,000 honorarium will be provided.
