In the midst of a busy holiday party season, many of McColl Center for Visual Art's former and present board members, their significant others, artists and friends braved torrential rain on Wednesday night to show up at the stunning new home of Emily and Zach Smith in Charlotte for another celebration of the Center's first 10 years.

The contributions of our board members, past and present, have been vital to the growth and success of the Center since it opened its doors in 1999. We are sincerely grateful for their passion, their commitment and their leadership.

President Suzanne Fetscher, above with Hugh McColl and the Smiths, toasted Mr. McColl, all board members and the next decade, Mr. McColl told the crowd that he thought his gallery was the best in the land until he saw the Smith's amazing collection. That quip brought the house down. A marvelous time was had by all.
