
ACCIDENTAL ABSTRACTIONS

Join the Contemporaries for Accidential Abstractions, a very special, private walking tour with current resident artist, Isaac Payne on Saturday, November 5 at 1:30 PM. Guided by Isaac’s trained eye, the group will view circumstantial arrangements of surfaces and forms around uptown Charlotte while considering their aesthetic qualities in relation to notable Modernist artworks. Isaac received his BFA from Cleveland Institute of Art and his MFA from City University of New York at Queens College. He has exhibited his work nationally and has been a winner of the New American Paintings 2010 regional competition for the South East. The tour will begin in Isaac’s studio, located on the third floor of McColl Center for Visual Art. .
