I AM AN ARTIST AND SO ARE YOU

I AM AN ARTIST AND SO ARE YOU is a eight-week workshop designed for middle school and high school students with Autism. Lead by alumna artist Diana Arvanites, participants will meet each Saturday to create a series of projects using photography and mixed media framed around four thematic explorations: self-portrait, classroom community, family life, and dreams.

During the sessions, participants will investigate the world around them and their part in it through a self-esteemed based curriculum that allows for freedom of expression using photography, collage, ink, pencil, paint, and other media.
