The Center’s residency programs provide nourishment for the artists’ work and cultivate creativity as artists engage with the Charlotte community and broader public in their studios, at opening and closing receptions, and through other outreach opportunities. The "Open Door" policy encourages artists to invite the public into their studio to gain insight into the creative process and to foster collaborative relationships through meaningful conversations.
