New Works / Alumni One

Exhibition | First-floor Gallery

New Works / Alumni One is the first in a series of exhibitions presenting exceptional alumni artists from McColl Center for Art + Innovation’s residency program as it celebrates its twentieth anniversary in Charlotte.

Featuring Michaela Pilar Brown, Erika Diamond, and Jonathan Prichard, the exhibition explores the secular, sacred, and symbolic grounds these Carolina-based artists know personally and collectively. Using media including photography, drawing, printmaking, textiles, and performance, the artists share a recognition of the human body and its power to communicate through image, movement, and touch.

Join us for the opening of New Works / Alumni One at our Open House on Thursday, September 20, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Free admission and everyone is welcome.

New Works / Alumni One is curated by Tom Stanley, Visiting Curator, for McColl Center for Art + Innovation.
