for Art + Innovation
McColl Center for Art + Innovation is nationally renowned, urban artist residency experience, and a state-of-the-art laboratory where contemporary artists develop their work and connect with the community. The Center welcomes the community to view our exhibitions, meet resident artists in their studios and expand their understanding of contemporary art.
2017 artist-in-residence Leah Rosenberg's site-specific exploration of color and taste, Color for the People, happened at McColl Center for Art + Innovation from September 14 to December 2, 2017. Students from Central Piedmont Community College’s Culinary Arts program helped Rosenberg during the weekly Color Bar events throughout the exhibition.
