WINTER/SPRING 2019 ARTISTS-IN-RESIDENCE
Come through and see what current artists-in-residence—Esperanza Cortés, Michael Harrison, Carmella Jarvi, Tom Stanley, Chris Watts, and Antoine Williams—have been working on during their residencies this spring.
Mad Crash Course in Intuitive Color Theory
Exhibiting alumna artist Felicia van Bork (2005, 2012) uses color-galore during this hands-on activity to explore color theories in a fun and informal way. Her own Color Grid Series in the current New Works / Alumni Two exhibition will provide inspiration for aspiring colorists.
INSIDE BLACK LILY BILLY AND THE LABIA WHO KNEW HIM: A reading of new and unfinished works by John W. Love, Jr.
Alumni Artist Lounge, second floor
Alumnus artist John W. Love Jr. (2001, 2012) offers a series of intimate performative readings. A recent Guggenheim Fellow, Love creates “worlds defined by blurred lines, glimmering ephemera, and Absurdist kisses to the psyche.” Prepare to visit those worlds this evening.
Composer and musician Bo White plays esoteric mature vocals, soundtracks, and jazz from the 50s and 60s.
