At McColl Center for Art + Innovation, we’re building a community where contemporary artists and an engaged public enhance their creativity through relevant, diverse, and accessible experiences.
That’s our vision for a better Mecklenburg County. You can join us in making sure this kind of transformational community building continues for years to come. On November 5, 2019 (and during early voting, which began on October 16th), we have the opportunity to vote FOR additional funding for the arts, parks, and education throughout Mecklenburg County.
We encourage you to join us in voting for a quarter-cent sales tax referendum that will provide revenue that will transform our parks, public schools, and equity and access to arts, science, and history programs for generations to come.
We’re thankful to the donors who enable McColl Center to offer free admission. This is an important step in providing access to the arts, but there is still much work to be done.
We imagine a community where creativity and imagination are ignited in neighborhoods and in places relevant and meaningful to those being served. Everyone benefits from arts and culture and this tax is our chance to make sure the growing needs of our community are met.
Please join McColl Center and vote FOR the Mecklenburg County quarter-cent sales tax referendum.
We believe this investment in parks, arts, and education will improve life for you, us, and everyone in Mecklenburg County.
Please note: When you go to the polls to vote, this image above is what you’ll see on the ballot. Vote FOR the Mecklenburg County Sales Use Tax to make a major investment in Mecklenburg County quality of life for years to come.
