In this 90-minute workshop, professional artists and creatives will be introduced to artistic goal setting and methods of creating a sustainable business plan to reach those goals. This empowering experience provides each participant with a framework for planning, launching, managing, and sustaining their art careers, projects, or companies. Specific discussions will include mission and vision clarity and budget creation.
About the Artist Entrepreneurship Program
Regardless of your artistic discipline, business skills and financial acumen are key to sustaining your practice as a professional artist. In our ongoing efforts to support artists’ careers, McColl Center presents the first series of professional development workshops in our Artist Entrepreneurship Program. Through the live, interactive workshops, you will be encouraged to make steps toward self-sufficiency and growth with resources for business planning, financial literacy, and grant writing. The fall 2020 series is a collaboration with C4 Atlanta and will be taught virtually by Audrey Gámez.
