Sewing Circles with Janet Loren Hill

Thursdays and Fridays: June 24 and 25, and July 15 and 16
Tuesday, July 6
6:00–8:00 p.m.

In the spirit of collective sewing circles and storytelling, Janet Loren Hill invites you to join her for a sewing circle. Bring a myth, fable, or story you remember hearing when you were younger to read or recall to the group as you sew beads onto a large parachute. This parachute will then be activated during a performance at our Open Studio Saturday on July 24.

After a year of isolation, join to sew, join to listen, join to share.

Basic sewing skills are helpful, but not required to attend.
Circles are limited to 12 people per session.

How to get here and where to park:

We’re at 721 N. Tryon St. in Uptown Charlotte. Plenty of free parking is available on N. Tryon St. after 6:00 p.m. and in the lot at the corner of W. 10th St. and N. Church St. (behind Charlotte Ballet).
