When it comes to social media presence, artists tend to fall in one of two camps. The first is the artist who wants to focus mainly on their work and life offline. The second is the artist who is running a business. Whichever one you are, social media can be a very effective instrument for getting eyes on your work and growing connections. Digital marketing maven Alexandra Smith will share insights and best practices to help you build a following, reach new people, and develop an evolving online portfolio for galleries and organizations potentially interested in your work.

Alexandra Smith is a digital marketer and project manager for creatives. She has a decade of experience marketing large-scale events, coordinating operations, and balancing creative ideas with due dates. In 2020, Alexandra took a leap and opened Squash Blossom Social.
