Join us for the premiere of Garbage Person, a short film by artist Taylor Lee Nicholson. This mockumentary film unpacks the meaning of the term "garbage person," explores "trash" as both material and subject, and tries to understand the intersection of poverty and identity in late-stage capitalism. If that sounds heavy, don't worry - Taylor uses parody and lowbrow aesthetics to bring humor to an otherwise bleak premise.

Following the screening, Nicholson will discuss their creative practice and inspiration behind their work.

Cash bar is available at the event.
