Art journaling is an open-ended form of art where the focus is on the process of creating and self-expression rather than a particular result. Students are invited to discover the joy of creating for the sake of creating in a dedicated space for playful explorations and experiments that will fuel their creativity. Works often include a combination of words, imagery, and color. In addition to learning basic bookmaking techniques, drawing, mark-making, writing, painting, and collage or also components of the creative process.
