Anna G. Dean (Winter/spring 2021) is a multidisciplinary artist focusing mainly in sculpture, mixed media, and digital manipulation based out of Fort Mill, SC. Her creative process relies upon unexpected visual and conceptual connections that occur when layers of information build and intersect.
What you’ll learn:
- How to apply symmetry to your artwork
- How to exactly duplicate abstract drawings
- How to add color to accent specific shapes
What you need to create:
- Paper cut into a square
- Popsicle stick
- Pencil (6B drawing pencil preferred, but #2 pencil will work)
Optional materials:
- Paints, markers, or colored pencils for coloring your design
- Sharpie
- Adobe Photoshop
