Spark sessions provide a unique insight into the passion, curiosity, and creative processes of artists and their practice. All sessions are informal, informative, and open to the public. Please join us! The role of the gallerist has always held prestige in the art world. With far fewer galleries than artists, the display space each location offers is a desirable commodity, as well as the symbiotic relationship with artists. The most important key for gallerists is to establish an unbreakable trust with the artists they represent. Of course, for the artists, the landscape looks much different. What artists need – more than anything else – is notoriety. Their work must be visible if it is to be purchased or put on consignment. This is why art galleries are such attractive propositions. Join in this conversation between Executive Director of Building Bridges Art Exchange and Curator, Marisa Caichiolo and Artist-in-Residence Tadeo Muliero as they share insight into their working connection and partnership.
