Volunteer Positions

Visitor Services Volunteers are the first point of contact for the visitor experience at McColl Center for Art + Innovation. They promote a positive visitor experience while enforcing procedures, ensuring that a visitor’s first and last impressions of their experience at McColl Center are positive ones. This volunteer position is in charge of welcoming visitors, entering up-to-date information in the database, and providing guests with current information regarding McColl Center, its programming, and events. Availability for morning or afternoon shifts on weekdays is essential.

Events + Programs Volunteers assist with set-up, clean-up, food prep, greeting and directing visitors, serving refreshments, and other tasks during receptions, special events, and public programs. These volunteers work closely with McColl Center staff and artists to help bring special programs and events to the community. Since most events are held in the evenings or on weekends, this area is great for busy people who work full time.

Special Project Volunteers are needed from time to time to assist artists, provide support to administrative tasks, and complete projects in a range of areas and typically involve only a temporary time commitment. If you have a special skill that you want to volunteer, please contact us to see if we can use your help.
