Open Door Interview Knight Artist-in-Residence Joseph Herscher
In his first solo exhibition in the United States, Herscher, whose work has been viewed by more than 10-million viewers on YouTube, employed principles of physics and engineering as well creative wit and humor to construct a highly complicated and convoluted device that helps him perform the simple task of dressing, in an elaborately wasteful way -- The Dresser made it's world premiere, November 9 at McColl Center to record-breaking crowds.
