Anna Torma received her degree in Textile Art and Design from the Hungarian University of Applied Arts in 1979 and has exhibited in the United States, Canada and Hungary. Her work has been featured in Fiberarts and is in the collection of the Ministry of Culture, Hungary. Torma uses embroidery to create works that integrate elements of narrative, collage, and sketching. The work reflects her youth in Hungary, she says, and it 'incorporates motifs from folk art, children's drawings and contemporary art.'
