Mono Feo (b. 2000) was born in Charlotte, North Carolina. Growing up as a Charlotte native, the city’s history became a point of inspiration for their work. They began to host film screening events that resulted in the local annual film screening, MIDNIGHT HOMEMOVIES, which celebrates DIY and underground film. In 2023, they were an artist-in-residence at Goodyear Arts and then joined the artist collective. In April of 2025, in collaboration with the performance art collective, Tooth Lifeless, they were a recipient of the Nexus Fund from the Andy Warhol Foundation.
