If you thought The Liberated Brush was eye-opening, you’ll love The Liberated Brush II

Gather with fellow graduates of "The Liberated Brush" or "PDQ Portraits" to take "The Liberated Brush II" with Felicia van Bork. In this advanced, intensive 2-day workshop, participants paint portraits in acrylic as they undertake ingenious and hilarious exercises applicable to any painting medium. The portrait, a subject notorious for causing artists to tighten up, is our subject in this course, where half the time will be devoted to interactive exercises and half to guided painting from live models. Felicia provides demonstrations and one-on-one instruction in brushwork technique, value identification, color substitution, and the harnessing of our fallible memory as an expressive tool. The Liberated Brush workshops are a safe place where mistakes and daring choices are celebrated!

Class Dates:

Saturday, March 28, 11 AM-3 PM

Sunday, March 29, 11 AM-3 PM

****Prerequisite: The Liberated Brush or PDQ Portraits
