McColl Center Announces 2023 Benefit Art Auction May 5-12

Three ways to participate in person or virtually

Charlotte, NC – McColl Center announced May 5-12 as the dates for its 2023 Benefit Art Auction, a unique event that unites local and alumni artists to help support artist-led and inspired programming at McColl Center through the sale of artwork.

The 2023 Benefit Art Auction includes seven days of opportunities to bring home unique contemporary artwork by rising and celebrated creatives. A week-long silent auction begins on May 5 and the 2023 Benefit Art Auction concludes on May 12 with a closing live auction event offered among the three ways to participate.

2023 McColl Center Benefit Art Auction – 3 Ways to Participate

  1. Participating Artists Opening Celebration on Friday, May 5 at 7:00 pm. A special opportunity to meet and celebrate the 2023 Benefit Art Auction Participating Artists. Silent auction bidding begins, along with the first chance to preview works available during the Bid + Bring Art Home Live Auction closing event on May 12th. Admission is FREE.
  2. Silent Auction May 5-12. Available 2023 Benefit Art Auction works will be on display at McColl Center or for virtual viewing online beginning May 5. Bids can be submitted for favorite works listed as Silent Auction items, or through “buy now” pricing with purchase through the 2023 Benefit Art Auction virtual platform (registration below).
  3. Bid + Bring Art Home Live Auction on Friday, May 12 at 7:00 pm. The excitement of live bidding with auctioneer Dan Lyles comes to McColl Center as the finale of the 2023 Benefit Art Auction! Select artwork available only during this event. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres provided. Individual tickets: $75 + Host Packages: $500.
