Charlotte, March 30, 2023 - McColl Center is thrilled to announce that Alli Celebron-Brown, our esteemed President + CEO, has been honored with one of The Charlotte Ledger's prestigious 40 Over 40 awards, presented by U.S. Bank. These awards recognize local unsung heroes aged 40 and above, who are making significant contributions to our community.
Since joining McColl Center in 2017, Alli has exhibited exceptional leadership, spearheading initiatives to revitalize, rebuild, and reimagine our organization. Her remarkable efforts to nurture a bold new vision for the future, such as: provisioning subsidized studio spaces and supporting programs for local artists, along with an unwavering commitment to enhancing diversity among our board, staff, and attendees. These efforts have played a vital role in financially restabilizing McColl Center to support and sustain our original vision of putting Artists first.
With an impressive record of accomplishment in community development, Alli has dedicated her career to improving the lives of individuals in our city. She has previously served with esteemed organizations such as the Lee Institute and the Foundation for the Carolinas. Throughout her years of service, Alli has consistently demonstrated her ability to forge meaningful connections between people and ideas, as well as her willingness to roll up her sleeves and lead by example.
