Algerian artist Azdine Sedjal received an MFA in sculpture from Arizona State University in 2000 after having earned a National Superior Diploma of Art from the Ecole D' Art Aix-en-Provence Art School in 1994. His work is conceptual as, through the manipulation of materials and the application of various technology, he addresses the changes that occur in nature over time. He frames his manipulations of natural phenomena, forcing us to see the obvious in the context of ourselves.
