Ben Premeaux earned a BS in Art Education from Appalachian State University and an MIS in Computer Graphics and Painting from Virginia Commonwealth University. He owns and operates The smARTLab in Charlotte, NC and was a public school art teacher for 12 years. Experimenting with new technology and techniques, Ben Premeaux combines digital and traditional media to create work that breaks the barriers of standard matted photography.
