Bill Gaskins received a BFA from Tyler School of Art, an MA from Ohio State University, and an MFA from Maryland Institute College of Art. He is a faculty member at Parsons School of Design in New York City in both Photography and Critical Studies. Gaskins explores the complexities and contradictions of American life attempting to complicate, humanize, and sometimes affirm the many ethnic notions regarding African American men and the Cadillac.
