Carrie M. Becker received a BFA in Photography from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and an MFA in Sculpture from Kansa State University. Through the manipulation of fabric, Becker’s soft sculptural forms can be likened to many invisible things that are around us made large and visible: germs, microbes, dust, and spores.
