Corine Guseman began working with clay in evening adult education classes and has since studied a variety of artist techniques and styles. Her focus is on funtional objects, with an emphasis on surface design. The impressions on her pottery are forged from memories of her youth surrounded by the beauty of the canyon lands, the desert rock formations, and American Indian art in Utah and Idaho. Corine is committed to community involvement, learning from and teaching others.

“For Guseman, "...there is more to working with clay than just creating pots. It's about building communities, sharing ideas, and encouraging others to find their creative path.”
