Daniel McCormick received his BA from the College of Environmental Design at UC-Berkeley. He has exhibited his work extensively in the Pacific Northwest as well as nationally. He was awarded an invitational Bridge Residency for community advocacy from Headlands Center for the Arts. Driven by his powerful social consciousness, McCormick creates sculptures on the themes of ecological balance and restoration, public interaction, and education. His work addresses issues of accessibility and community, providing its participants a meaningful public art experience in unlikely sites.
