De'Angelo Dia received a BS in Applied Communication and Sociology from Appalachian State University and an MA in Liberal Studies from UNC Charlotte. His work has been exhibited throughout the Southeast and is included in collections in Mexico. Investigating public opinions and contemporary beliefs, Dia uses photography and performance art as a catalyst for dialogue while arousing public concern regarding social, political, and racial issues.
