Deanna Leamon received her BA from Eastern Illinois University and her MFA from Southern Illinois University. Her work has been exhibited nationally. Inspired by her experience with human anatomy and cadavers, Leamon creates large figurative drawings that explore the relationships between physicality, metaphor, and fundamental truth in the modern world.
