Erin M. Riley earned a BFA in Fibers from Massachusetts College of Art and Design and an MFA in Fibers at Tyler School of Art. She was featured in the Spring 2011 issue of FiberArts Magazine and was a featured artist at the Society of Contemporary Craft in Pittsburgh, PA, also in the fall of 2011. She has exhibited throughout the country and completed a Jacquard Workshop with Louise Lemieux Berube at Montreal Center for Contemporary Textiles. Deeply rooted in family history and community tragedy, Riley’s woven tapestries are markers of time and catalysts for community conversations about addiction, loss, and isolation.
