Art + Artists

Fran Brown received a BA from St. Joseph's College for Women and a Master's in Urban Education at the University of Hartford Art School. She has participated in numerous classes and workshops at Penland School of the Arts, Central Piedmont Community College, and Spirit Square. She works with ceramics and enjoys experimenting with new forms, ideas, and surfaces. Her sculpture often depicts realistic images with a creative, even humorous, twist.
