A visual artist, playwright, poet, stage/video director, and actor, John W. Love, Jr. is an interdisciplinary literary and performance artist whose work can be described as complex, circuitous, textural, and contextual. Love has traveled to Sweden, Paris, New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles for his work and has been awarded numerous residencies, grants, and fellowships. Love rejects notions that his work can be put into boxes and thus, that it can be described easily in an artist biography.
