Kate Rich is a "mobile techno-artist" working in a variety of information media. Her art has been presented in academic, museum, and new media institutions in Australia, Europe, and the United States. She prefers to work collectively and is sometimes deployed as Radio Engineer by international art group BIT (Bureau of Inverse Technology), known for their novel information devices and video vision products. Kate's work has utilized miniature aircraft, experimental webcasting, covert radio transmissions, and semi-autonomous telephone systems.
