Kristi Ryba received her BA from the College of Charleston and her MFA from Vermont College. Her work has been exhibited nationally and has been featured on the film program "Eye Am: Woman Behind the Lens" in New York. Examining traditional roles of women, Ryba creates paintings, prints, books, and stop-motion animations relating to how gender myths populate our subconscious. Her work, comprised of dolls and manipulated family photos, questions the role of domesticity in all its forms.
