Marcelo Novo studied at Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes “Prilidiano Pueyrredon” and received his Master's degree from the University of South Carolina.  His art has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in galleries and museums throughout the United States and abroad, including the Centro Cultural Recoleta in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Novo creates images developed from his subconscious that stem from roots in Latin American and European Surrealism. Starting and finishing his works in one session, Novo is able to capture a particular and specific state of mind.
