____________________

My practice sits at the intersection between art, architecture, and education. Spaces of learning are a path to that transformation, and thus my art work begins with the body as a space from which to create structures capable of generating experiences and ideas that aim to produce utopian realities. All of my works are participatory constructions, devices that question the establishment and seek to transform realities based on dialogues between people and their contexts in different dimensions. From vast geopolitical geographies to more intimate connections on a human scale, these works explore notions of borders, migration, homelessness, national identity, and social-political conflicts. They aim for equity as matter to build and strive to reconfigure that substance into meaningful social connections.
