Mike Slattery completed a BFA at the University of Wisconsin and received an MFA in sculpture from Cranbrook Academy of Art. He combines his artistic work as a conceptual sculptural practice with his commercial design/build products. Perception and recollection are processes invistigated in his installations, and Mike's approach to "model making" questions the perceptions of the viewer and effects of past and present technological cultures. His artwork often involves stripping things bare to expose their inner workmanship.
