Pam Wittfeld received her BA in Art Education from Florida State University. She has taught art for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools since 1991 and is National Board Certified. Acquisition of numerous grants and awards has assisted Pam in her on-going pursuance of her jewelry design interests, studying with recognized instructors at Arrowmont, Penland, and through the Florida Society of Goldsmiths. Pam's design emphasis is on non-objective imagery, texture, and pattern in jewelry forms. Her work focuses on the use of metal clay combined with traditional metalsmithing and the exploration of alternative materials and techniques.
