Art + Artists

Que-OS is an experimental “Open Studio” led by Faron Franks and Manoj Kesavan. The initiative combines the two primary aspects of their background: one in architecture that spans many cities and countries, and the other in cultural community building. The studio will be the base for inquiry into issues of design and art, approached through public forums, lectures, and writing.We seek to bring together a wide range of designers, artists, and members of the community to work collaboratively on projects of broad interest and impact. The projects integrate planning and design with events, performances, and temporary installations – both physical and virtual-to better understand our built environment as a direct expression of community.
