Thu Kim Vu recieved her BFA from the Hanoi University of Fine Arts and her MFA from the Art Institute of Chicago. She has exhibited her work internationally and has been the recipient of an Unesco Aschberg Fellowship. As a form of meditation, Vu uses mixed media to explore the spontaneity of personal character found in handwriting and signatures.
