Yoko Takahashi studied sculpture at Tama Art University in Tokyo, Japan. Her work is exhibited in galleries, museums, and on stage. Takahashi's work became influenced by the natural phenomena of light and water after witnessing water ripples reflected on the underside of a bridge. Her site-specific artworks are created to resonate within a particular space and are intended to be viewed and experienced as natural occurrences, not artwork.
